What Is YourCompletePlayer ?
When he finds someone he's interested in becoming friends with, he just clicks the "DRAFT" button on the person's profile page. YourCompletePlayer will send a message to that member saying that Mikey wants to add him or her to his Locker Room, and that person can either approve or deny the request. If the request is approved, that person will automatically show up in Mikey's Locker Room

- YCP is for everyone involved in a COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY, including players, coaches, parents and sports teams. YCP helps everyone in their Activity coordinate game and practice schedules. YCP is where team members and parents share photos and video with each other. Most of all, YCP is for anyone trying to get the most out of their activities.

- Copying photos to team sites, while only uploading once to your personal site:
1. Click on the “MyPage” link on the left side of the main menu. There are tabs on the top of your page. Click on the “My Photos” tab to see your photo albums.
2. Click on the link under the photo album to “Copy photos to teams”.
3. After clicking on that link, you can copy the entire album to teams, or copy selected photos in the album to one team, and selected photos to other teams.
To copy the entire album, click on the “Copy entire album to teams” link.
Or, to copy selected photos from the album, check off the first set of photos that you want to copy, and then click on the “pick teams” button.
Either choice above will launch a window in which you choose the teams to copy the album to. Use the search form to pick each team. You can pick multiple teams at one time.
4. After you check off the teams, click on the “copy photos to selected teams” button, and follow the prompts to copy the photos.
Video Uploads:
Upload the videos to the team web page. If the team’s web page is not active yet, you can activate it in less than a minute using the new team link. About an hour later, the photos will also be featured on your content channel if you are registered as a producer.
You can upload any major video codecs or file types including: QuickTime video codecs (including .mov, .qt, .mp4, .3gp); MPEG video codecs (including .mpg, .mpeg, .mp2); Windows media codecs (including .wmv); .avi, .dv. Many Sorensen codecs are also supported. All codecs are transcoded to Flash.
We recommend that you upload .mov files for best quality. AVI files are huge and should be avoided.
We recommend keeping clips under 5 minutes in length and under 30 MB in file size. This will keep your uploads quick and ensure people can view your videos well over many types of Internet connections.
All Microsoft/browser combinations work well, and most Mac/browser combinations work well. We recommend Tiger with Firefox for the most consistent Mac results.
Building team sites
1. If your team site is not yet activated (use the search tools to see existing teams ), then you can activate it using the create new team page wizard also located on the team web site page linked above.
2. If you like to dive right in, then use the wizard on the link above, and you’ll be done in a minute or two.

Photo Uploading - Basics
1. Make sure you are logged in
2. Start from the team web site that you want to upload to
A. If you are registered as a content producer, the photos will automatically be linked to your channel (about an hour after they go to the team web site).
B. Use the Quick Search tool to find your team. You can add a team if the they don’t have an active site yet.
C. On the front of the team web page is a section for “recent team photos”, and a link at the bottom of the section that says “click here to upload your photos now“. Click on “click here to upload your photos now”, and the photo upload wizard will start.
3. After you enter the album info, the wizard will bring you to the photo upload tool.
A. You can crop the photos before uploading to speed up your upload. You should set your photo editing software to crop the photos to a max dimension of 500 pixels (and keep the aspect ratio so that the other dimension scales accordingly). B. Click on browse to find the photos on your computer
C. Select the ones you want to upload (you can do up to 100 at a time) and they’ll go into a list.
D. When the list looks good, click on “Upload” below the list.
How do I move photo and video highlights added to YCP by other people to my personal Locker Room?
Click on the add to my favorites link that you see by every photo and video, and it will be automatically added to your personal page.
Can I add photos/videos/stats from multiple teams/sports?
Yes, you can link as many of your teams/sports as you want, and we’ll keep track of each season’s information and highlights, so that you can for example look at information and highlights specific to the 2007 season, as opposed to the 2010 season.
Can I upload photos/videos directly to my Locker Room?
Not yet. For now, upload the photo or video to your Player's Card. Then just click on the add to my favorites link that you see by the photo or video to move the photo or video to your personal page. Note for producers: when you upload photos or videos to team web pages, they will automatically show up on your channel, about an hour after you upload them.
Can I start a Locker Room for my child?
Yes, and you can choose to make the Locker Room “private” or “public” by choosing to display a full name, a nickname, or no name (completely private).
What else I can do with my Locker Room?
Add custom avatars and profiles (you can include stats). Others can click the “DRAFT” link at the bottom center of your Player's Card. When they do that, you’ll get a Draft Letter from that person which you can accept or reject. If you accept it, you’ll be added to each other’s networks which in the future will enable you to get messages when there is new information, photos, or videos posted to a team, player, fan, coach, scout, or channel that is in your network.
What happens when I add YCP web sites to my favorites?
Links to those pages will be saved on your personal page for easy access, and in the future you’ll be able to choose if you want notifications when those sites get new info, photos, videos, etc.

Is my team Locker Room already activated?
To find your team, search for your team by using the quick search capability. If you choose a city, then the search tool will show you all the teams within about 30 miles of that city.
Who can start a new team Locker Room?
Anyone that is a part of that team including players, coaches, and fans. Use the create new team wizard and you’ll have your site ready to be shared with your entire team and community in about a minute.
How does my team get statistics, schedule information, booster club information, and team records posted on our team sites?
Contact us at contact@yourcompleteplayer.com and we’ll provide you with templates.
Will my team be charged for uploading photos, videos, stats, or other information?
No. We want all teams to be able to use this site. Other sites that charge teams monthly or other fees cause only certain teams to be able to afford it. Instead, we keep our costs low, and charge only our advertisers and sponsors.
Can my team’s parents and fans upload photos and videos to my team’s site?
Yes, as long as they are registered (free) We review content, but only reject content if it is inappropriate or offensive.
I already have a site for my team, but it costs me money and doesn’t have unlimited photo and video capability, however I don’t want to lose my web address…can I keep it?
Yes. We can map your web address to your new YourCompletePlayer site so that your fans can continue to use your current web address.
